Every once in while...
A person is born who is destined to be the leader in their chosen field. Ross Noble is one of those people.
Ross is an English comedian who deals solely in the world of unreality. His delivery, of stream of conciousness material, is possibly the finest example of this art. Watch the videos below and laugh as Ross plies his trade in a way that makes most comedians wish they had his talent. (The total runtime for these videos is quite long so if you do intend on watching them set aside a good hour, or possibly two, and watch them one after the other.)
Enjoy...

I'd much rather hear a major dropping to a minor...
Than a major dropping bombs. So here's a small list of songs that sing of hope sung by musicians with a conscience.
Imagine - john Lennon.
The Internationale - Billy Bragg.
Midnight Oil - Beds are Burning.
Ian Brown - Illegal attacks (feat Sinead O'connor)
Country Joe McDonald - "Feel Like I'm Fixing To Die"
Enjoy.

Last night...
I was raving on about how impressed I was with the website drop.io and decided that I should spend an hour or two today getting into the thing and seeing what was what.
But as the saying goes, the best laid plans gang aft agley and after less than a minute I was distracted by another site and felt I should let you all know about it. Cooliris is a neat little plugin that allows you to view the media from a site in a nice 3D environment.
Particularly nice for Google Images, Picasa albums and media rich websites, Cooliris and Coolpreviews speeds up your browsing and works with Firefox, I.E, Safari, Bebo, Myspace, Facebook, Youtube and many, many, more.

I had to share this...
Because it's possibly the most insane thing I have ever seen.
The guy behind it is named Jean-Yves Blondeau and, as you can tell from his name, he's French. But that doesn't mean we should hate him. Quite the opposite in fact.
Good old Jean-Yves has invented something called Buggy Rollin, a thing that has to be seen to be believed.

I may not know the words being sung...
But the music itself is the thing.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Abdel Hadi Halo and the El Gusto Orchestra of Algiers performing "Win Saadi" (Recorded Live on Jools Holland.)

Ladies and gentlemen...
This is possibly one of the most heartwrenching songs I've ever heard.
I've heard it so many times in my life that I could sing along if it wasn't for the fact that I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket but never realised what it's about. Now that I know it's about child abuse it breaks my heart listening to it. But listen to it I will. And so can you...
Ladies and Gentlemen, Suzanne Vega - Luka (Recorded live at Abbey Road studios).

Whilst tripping gently...
through the myriad of pages contained on the interstitial webulator I stumbled across a nice little series of videos on youtube. Entitled "No risk, No fun" the videos showcase the many varied ways we humans get our kicks.

I don't know about you...
But I've always found Stewie Griffin singing Rocket Man funnier than words can convey. So imagine my surprise when I stumbled across the inspiration for it on youtube. Believe it or not it's based on William "Captain Kirk" Shatner's rendition of the same song at a 1978 sci-fi convention.
Here's the video.
And to finish here's a small joke...
Why didn't the woman go out with Captain Kirk after their first meeting?
Because William Shatner.

Surf's up.
As a small treat for you all on Boxing Day I have rooted out a great surfing video for you all to watch. It's called Riding Giants and is about the evolution of Big Wave surfing. Enjoy.
But first, to get you into the mood here's a small clip of Laird Hamilton riding the Chopu breaker.
And here is the main feature. Riding Giants.

Just for Crimbo...
Here's a little video of some spectacular crashes from the world of Motorcycle racing.
