I've finally heard back from my insurers (After six weeks) about what was to happen with my scooter after it was stolen. The final judgement is it's a write off.
I had less than six months tootling about on Vera (Yes, I gave her a name) and will miss her.

MUST PAY OUT IF WRITTEN OFF - OR OFFER TO REPLACE WITH ONE IN SIMILAR CONDITION!!!!

The insurer is paying out the value of the bike as this model is no longer made. I'm considering buying another bike. (If anyone knows where I can scource an RD125 LC, please drop me a line.)
I have a rebuilt, slightly used, very fine speciman - Aprilia Europa 125 for sale.....
